Explore & Restore is a unique therapy that I created and I’m very proud of it. It brings together my professional knowledge of all three of my subjects, Counselling, Stretching and mindfulness.

The sessions begin with counselling for exploring problems and working towards goals, followed by floor work for deep breathing and Stretching poses to release negative energy, stress and increase flexibility. The session then finishes with a guided progressive muscle relaxation which encourages reflection and the emptying of the mind.

The beauty of this unique therapy is that all three aspects blend together so seamlessly. Explore & Restore is the complete mind and body experience. Counselling allows us to work together to explore problems and work towards your goals, after this the breathing and deep stretching poses release stress which is locked in the body.

You will gain increased flexibility and mindfulness from holding poses which restore the mind and body. Then the guided progressive muscle relaxation at the end is the ultimate of deep relaxation, allowing for completely emptying and clearing the mind whilst fully relaxing each and every muscle. The progressive muscle relaxation (PMR) is done by laying down in a comfortable position with your body cushioned, and then closing your eyes as I guide you through relaxing each muscle by talking you through the guided imagery and then taking you to a happy place of complete tranquillity.

  • 1 hour 40 minutes long
  • £75 for face2face session
    £60 for an online video session

I use video calling applcations like Zoom for each session if Face-to-Face meetings are not possible.

I work across the country using online counselling and therapy and our Face-to-Face counselling sessions would be based at my counselling rooms in Ewhurst, Guildford and Godalming in Surrey.
Counselling provides a non-judgemental and professional space for you to explore problems that may be impacting on your daily life and preventing you from living life to the full. Working with the counsellor you can have a better understanding of the problems you present with and begin to work towards your goals.
The thought of talking about our problems to a Counsellor can feel daunting and nerve-racking, you may even question if you can seek professional help. These thoughts and feelings are all completely normal, and nothing that I am not used to. I am very approachable and non-judgemental and with you every step of the way, we will work as a team.
Taking these steps shows courage and bravery, a determination to start moving from the rain cloud and towards the sunshine. Talking to a professional Counsellor can help you to have better relationships with others and make you feel valued again. You can start to look forward to the day ahead rather than living in dread. You may start to experience a more solid restful night’s sleep, helping you to feel invigorated and energised when you wake. Stress levels will be lowered leaving a calmer more peaceful sense of self and you will feel more in control.
No not at all, hypnosis is a natural part of your everyday life. It's like that feeling you have when you find yourself daydreaming. I simply ask you to close your eyes and relax whilst I talk, you are in full control of the session and can open your eyes at any time.
You will feel wonderfully relaxed, calm and in tune with yourself. It is a brilliant therapy for addressing problems in your life but also just for experiencing how to completely relax.
